Groove FM was formed in 2001. The online version started a few years later and now here we are. It has been 8 years since we started and my how time has flown by.

Groove online is run by a small group of “young” or “somewhat young” lovers of music. There are no suits and ties in this organisation and we are not run by some giant conglomerate that has 20 radio stations. We make all of our programming decisions from the feedback of our listeners and what it is you want to hear, rather than how much we are being paid by a record company. We will never sell out and play the same song 40 times a day nor will be told what to play or tell you what we think is cool.

We truly do listen to you and we hope you like what we do. We play minimal amounts of advertising so it is passion that drives what we do not dollars.
